Gov. Spencer Cox signed 10 bills from last week’s legislative special session.

Among these 10 bills was SB2004, sponsored by Sen. Kirk Cullimore. The bill allows employees to seek exemptions from COVID-19 vaccine requirements and requires employers to pay for COVID-19 testing.

Another bill signed was HB2003. The bill eases Utah’s reliance on cash bail by moving towards a pretrial process focused on risk assessment.

Just as he promised in last week’s press conference, Gov. Cox signed the redistricting map bills.
