Primary Children’s Hospital has doubled the size of its newborn Intensive Care Unit to create private rooms for each child.

The new NICU is the most highly specialized in the Intermountain West and offers surgical services, critical care and many pediatric specialists. It’s designed specifically for the care of tiny and medically fragile babies.

Each room includes space for parents to spend the night, pumps for nursing mothers and cameras equipped to stream the baby’s activity to the parents anytime they are away.
