Provo City’s parking committee has proposed a new program that will restrict parking.
“I think that highlights that there’s issues with on-street parking not being managed,” council member David Harding said.
The program is called the On-street Parking Management Program, or OPSM. The parking manager would have the power to break down Provo into different parking zones. Parking within certain zones may be restricted by paid time parking or optional permits.
Provo City is holding a town hall meeting on parking tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
