Trunk or Treat at LaVell Edwards Stadium

From goblins and ghouls to Cosmo and the Cougarettes, this Halloween trunk or treat has got it all. It might give you a bit of a scare, but it’s sure to be a fun time.

For the third consecutive year, the Halloween Trunk or Treat at LaVell Edwards Stadium was put on by the Brigham Young University Athletic Department. This included the football program and all other university teams.

Not only do the kids and the athletes dress up, Cosmo the Cougar dresses up as well. This year he was dressed as Zombie Cosmo.

Cosmo isn’t the only one having fun. The athletes and coaching staff love having the opportunity to give out candy to the kids.

“It’s fun. [I] Love doing this, love helping, love seeing the fans and just being out here just giving them a great night” said Tristen Hoge, Offensive Lineman on the football team.

Dunk Team member, Skyler Hunter, said, “It’s Halloween! The BYU dunk team has the Cosmo-mobile out here. We turned it into a haunted house and the kids are going through it and getting spooked.”

BYU football Head Coach, Kalani Sitake, who dressed as DJ Khalid, enjoyed his evening as well. “We love the fans; just want to be around them and I can wear a beard [for his costume] legally at BYU now.”

This has been a great BYU Halloween tradition the last three years, and hopefully it will continue on for many years to come.
