Theft
Aug. 20 An individual reported a car battery had been stolen around 1:30 p.m. near Heritage Halls. Police are continuing their investigation.
Aug. 21 An individual reported several items were taken from a vehicle on Lot 39 just after 9 p.m. Police are continuing their investigation.
Aug. 22 An item was reported stolen from the BYU Bookstore at about 6:30 p.m. but was later returned. Police are continuing their investigation.
Trespassing
Aug. 20 An individual was spotted in an area of the Wilkinson Student Center that they were not authorized to enter just after 12:30 p.m. Officers escorted the person away and issued a citation.
Aug. 22 An individual was located on the roof of the Smith Fieldhouse at about 4 p.m. The individual was escorted from the area.
Aug. 24 An individual with limited access was found in an unauthorized part of the Wilkinson Center at about 1:30 p.m. That person was escorted from the area.
Aug. 27 An individual reported that an unauthorized person was at a Heritage Halls building just before 5:30 p.m. A police officer later located that person and discovered that this person was indeed authorized to be there.
