Sept. 27 – Another police agency called BYU police about a possible fraudulent account from someone at BYU.

Orem

Burglary

Sept. 26 – Suspects broke out the windows of northwest Orem business and burglarized it.

DUI

Sept. 26 – A man was found passed out in a McDonald’s drive-thru. He was arrested for DUI after his blood alcohol level showed .154 percent.

Sept. 26 – A woman was arrested for DUI after involvement in a single vehicle accident on University Parkway at Sandhill Road.

Drugs

Sept. 26 – One man was cited and another was arrested when an officer found drug paraphernalia and distribution amounts of methamphetamine in the man’s car.

Domestic Dispute

Sept. 26 – Officers responded to a mother and daughter arguing over one of them dying her hair. They both calmed down and agreed to just bleach the tips.

Theft

Sept. 26 – A man was cited for shoplifting a cops-and-robbers Halloween costume at a Walmart, taking it out to his car, and coming back in to continue shoplifting.

Sept. 26 – Employees caught a man shoplifting at a local grocery store. The man took off running, but officers caught him upon their arrival.

Sept. 26 – A 2006 Baja Blast Go-Kart was stolen from a home near 700 W 1300 North.

Sept. 26 – An officer stopped a car with expired plates and found methamphetamine and stolen credit cards on a woman in the vehicle.

Sept. 26 – Employees at a Walmart chased a 16-year-old boy who tried to steal beer, but the boy got away. Officers later found him at home and he was referred to juvenile court.

Sept. 26 – A 13-year-old and a 15-year-old were caught in a stolen truck on Geneva Road. Both were taken to juvenile detention.
