The Springville Museum of Art and Cedar Fort Publishing are hosting a reception in honor of their new book, “The Springville Museum of Art: History and Collection.” The book’s reveal will be Sept 18 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Springville Museum of Art as part of the Springville City Heritage Days.
“The publication explores the community’s interest in fine art…and has expanded to include not only local and regional arts promotion, but the vibrant international influence of the Museum as well,” the event press release said.
This book includes full-color art reproductions and historical accounts of the museum.
Author Dr. Vern G. Swanson and coauthors will be available to sign books at the reception.
A new museum exhibit, The Springville Museum: A Place, Its People, and Their Collection, will also be accessible for tours during the event.
The Springville Museum of Art is located at 126 E. 400 South, Springville.
