THEFT:

Sept. 6 — Individual reported that an unattended backpack went missing at the Wilkinson Student Center. Officers are continuing their investigation.

Sept. 7 — A report was filed that an unattended blanket was stolen near LaVell Edwards Stadium. Investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 9 — University Police responded to a report that a child’s toy push-car was stolen. Officers are continuing their investigation.

Sept. 10 — An individual reported a secured bike was stolen near the Jesse Knight Building. It was determined a friend had borrowed the bike.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT:

Sept. 7 — Officers responded to a confrontation between two individuals near LaVell Edwards Stadium. They were later escorted from the area.

PROWLER:

Sept. 6 — University Police responded to a report of a suspicious individual around Wymount Terrace. The individual was found and cited.

SEXUAL OFFENSE:

Sept. 5 — Individual reported being touched inappropriately near the Miller Park baseball field. An investigation is still ongoing.

SCAM ALERT:

Sept. 4 — Provo Police received multiple phone calls from local residents reporting they had received phone calls from people posing as employees from Provo City customer services. The impostors requested a Western Union payment to pay an overdue utility bill.
