Utah-Europe Days is a two-day event offering opportunities and resources for Utah business leaders interested in doing business with Europe.
This event takes place May 9-10, at several venues in Salt Lake City.
The event on Wednesday will emphasize the European economy, with presentations on subjects such as how to do business in Europe and the future of Europe’s sovereign debt crisis.
Thursday’s events will emphasize the topics of business and culture, networking and women in international business. The highlight of the event is the anticipated Utah-Europe Days reception where participants will have the chance to meet prominent European and Utah officials.
“This is a great opportunity to continue to export to Europe and make the economy grow,” said Franz Kolb, the director to Europe for the governor’s office of economic development, international trade & diplomacy office.
The event is sponsored by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, World Trade Center Utah, BYU Center for the Study of Europe and BYU Marriott School Global Management Center.
