Letter: Occupy YSA

127

I look around our campus and I don’t like what I see.

I would like to live on a campus where my own happiness and comforts are not born out of the sufferings of others.

For this reason I am calling for a movement of change, a movement of hope, a movement known as Occupy YSA.

Did you know 99 percent of single people in the Church are in 1 percent of the wards?

This is a travesty.

I call on all of us to attend dances, break the fasts, ward prayers, family home evenings and “Nacho Libre” movie nights until our demands are met, or until visiting hours are over.

We will coordinate our efforts through nice notes and mass Blackboard emails.

We will refuse to leave our YSA Wards until we have the same rights as those who look down from their lofty mansions on Wymount.

We will stand united on the truth that relationships are not people.
