Letter: Pleas for Palestine

65

Never in my life have I seen anything so hypocritical as what we witnessed last week: the U.S. threatening to veto a bid by Palestine to officially be a member of the U.N.

Washington & Obama are taking their marching orders from Tel Aviv. If ever there was a travesty of justice, this is it.

I agree with the Palestinians in part — if Israel has a right to statehood at the U.N., so does Palestine.

A better solution would be to go back to Nov. 29, 1947. That’s when the U.N. had but 56 members and they approved a resolution to allow the Zionist state of Israel to be formed.

I think we should re-vote on the U.N. Partition Plan for Palestine. In today’s world the Zionists occupying Palestine wouldn’t have a chance. There should be only one state in West Asia and it should be Palestine.

The biggest mistake in U.N. history was that vote to allow Israel to exist.

The biggest mistake in American history is the continued support for the Zionist state.

That support, along with roughly 1,000 military bases halfway around the world, is the major reason for America going bankrupt.

Washington just doesn’t get it.
