Top 7 BYU sporting events to attend this winter

There are only two months left of the winter semester. Here are the top seven home sporting events to attend before the semester ends:

1. March 2: Basketball teams finish their seasons

Women’s basketball will go head-to-head with Santa Clara in its final game of the 2018-2019 season at the Marriott Center on March 2 at 2 p.m. Later that day, men’s basketball will finish its season against the San Diego Toreros at 7 p.m. in the Marriott Center.

2. March 23: Men’s volleyball vs. No. 2 Hawai’i

Men’s volleyball will take on No. 2 Hawai’i on March 2 at 7 p.m. in the BYU Smith Fieldhouse.

3. March 9-10: Track and field last chance meet

BYU track and field will host its last home meet on March 9-10 at the Clarence F. Robison Track and Field Complex. The starting time is to be determined.

4. March 22: Gymnastics MRGC Championships

BYU gymnastics will host Utah State University, Boise State and Southern Utah University for the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Championships on March 22 at 6 p.m. in the Marriot Center.

5. April 9: Deseret First Duel baseball

BYU baseball will take on in-state rival University of Utah April 9 at 6 p.m. at the Miller Park Stadium.

6. April 13: Women’s tennis vs. No. 11 Pepperdine

BYU women’s tennis will host NCAA No. 11 Pepperdine on April 13 at noon on the outdoor tennis courts. They will also be hosting Loyola Marymount on April 12 at noon.

7. April 26-27: Softball vs. San Diego

BYU softball will end its season against University of San Diego on April 26-27 at the Gail Miller Field. The times are as follows: April 26 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and April 27 at 1 p.m. Tickets for the events can be found here.
