Barnes & Noble unveiled the latest tablet to hit the tech market today with the Nook Tablet. Priced at $249, the tablet is seen as many as the company’s answer to Amazon.com’s soon to be released Amazon Kindle Fire, which is due out next Tuesday at $199.
During the announcement today in New York City, Barnes & Noble CEO William Lynch said the company’s tablet was superior to its online competitor’s. In some respects this is accurate, but in a side-by-side comparison the two tablet devices are largely similar.
