  • Vinyl Release Concert: Eyes Lips Eyes, which features three BYU grads, will release their new album “Blue Red” on vinyl. Seve vs. Evan, Red Orange, Chance Lewis & Apt will open. Begins at 8 p.m.

Muse Music Cafe

  • The Departure, White Ivory and Cloud 9.

Covey Center for the Arts

Friday

  • “The Three Musketeers”: On the main stage. Tickets $12 balcony, $15 main floor.
  • Gallery:  Mark Philbrick: Places with Faces: BYU’s full-time photographer Mark Philbrick has portrait photos on display, and the gallery’s images come from 28 different countries, showcasing a variety of cultures and experiences. The free gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday

  • Date Night Dance: The weekly social dance class goes from 7:30-10 p.m. Class will be held from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m., followed with dancing and fun from 8:30 – 10 p.m. Ballroom Two Step is being taught this Saturday. For more information, call the ticket office at 801-852-7007.

SCERA Center for the Arts

Friday

  • Outdoor Movie: SCERA’s Outdoor Theatre will show the film “Inception” starting at dusk.

Saturday

  • Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband: SCERA’s Outdoor Theatre will showcase the Utah country/bluegrass group. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available for guests of all ages, with a discount for students.

Harris Fine Arts Center

Friday

  • School of Music faculty recital: Following a tour to Vietnam and China, soprano Diane Reich, baritone Darrell Babidge and pianist Scott Holden will present a perform at 7:30 pm in the Harris Fine Arts Center’s Madsen Recital Hall. Admission is free. They will perform both vocal and piano pieces by Mozart and Schubert. The program will end with a group of works by popular American composer George Gershwin.
