4 injured in explosion in vehicle shop at Army depot

An explosion at a vehicle shop Thursday resulted in injuring four workers, three of whom were seriously injured with severe burns. The blast occurred in the painting area of the shop where more than 300 people work. Army Depot officials responded saying the incident was contained and operations elsewhere on the base would not be affected. There was no suspicion of terrorist activity.

Olympic figure skating medalist Denis Ten killed

Olympic figure skating medalist Denis Ten was killed Thursday in a case that investigators are viewing as murder. Ten was stabbed after a dispute with people who tried to steal a mirror from his car. Ten won a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, which made him Kazakhstan’s first medalist in figure skating. He also won the Four Continents championships in 2015, and was a world championship silver medalist in 2013.

‘Brady Bunch’ house for sale for nearly $1.9M

The home used for the TV series “The Brady Bunch” is up for sale for nearly $1.9 million. The 1973 two-bedroom, three-bathroom home is located in Los Angeles. The home has been updated, although the interior it is not what was resembled from the show. The real-estate agent says the home attracts 30 to 50 visitors a day.
