BYU Women’s Soccer goalkeeper, Erica Owens, has had a remarkable week. For her efforts, the West Coast Conference has recognized the senior goalie as the player of the week.

In two crucial home games this past week, Owens finished with two more shutouts. She leads the conference with six total shutouts and in goals against average, allowing only .77 goals per game. Owens has been the anchor of a dominant Cougar defense this year and will look to carry this momentum on the road this week.
Owens becomes the third Cougar this season to be recognized as player of the week. Rachel Manning and Ashley Hatch were both recognized early on in the season.
