Provo City and Google are partnering to bring Google Fiber to 25 deserving non-profit organizations, according to Provo City Mayor John Curtis’s blog,

“We’re calling them the Golden 25,” said Deputy Mayor Corey Norman.

The “Golden 25” nonprofit organizations will be a part of the Google Fiber Community Connections program. Organizations wishing to be a part of this exciting new program may begin submitting applications as soon as Sept. 12.

Google Fiber and Provo City representatives will be answering questions at a pre-application meeting for nonprofits interested in learning more about the Community Connections program. The meeting is by invititation only and those wishing to attend may RSVP at provo.org.
