BYU baseball will host the Saint Mary’s Gaels this weekend in the deciding three-game series for the final spot in the WCC tournament.

The Cougars (27–19, 12–9 WCC) sit one game ahead of the Gaels (21–31, 11–10 WCC) in the conference standings for fourth place, setting up this critical head-to-head matchup for the fourth and final spot in the tournament.

BYU comes into the series with momentum following a dramatic series victory over San Francisco last weekend and a close win over rival Utah on Tuesday. The Cougars will follow their usual weekend rotation with ace Desmond Poulson (6–2, 3.01) starting the opener, followed by Jeff Barker (4–3, 4.15) on Friday and Adam Miller (3–7, 5.54)  in the series finale on Saturday afternoon.
