I have never written you before on the BYU news that I get here at home on the internet, but I wanted to thank you for the wonderful editorial piece on “Giving Thanks” of 19 November 2002.
It is important to remember to give thanks, not just on Thanksgiving Day, but every day, for the many blessings that Heavenly Father gives to us.
Giving thanks is closely akin to being grateful and that makes me think of our Prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley. Having a grateful heart makes one thankful. They go hand in hand.
And … in closing, may you all there in the editorial office, have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving Day!
