Police are searching for an unknown male who sexually assaulted a 7-year-old female resident of Spanish Fork Tuesday.

The victim and her 5-year-old sister were playing at the Centennial Park, 600 E. 600 South in Spanish Fork, when they encountered the stranger.

Detective Sgt. Steve Adams of the Spanish Fork Police Department said the 5-year-old girl was uninjured and both girls ran home after the incident.

“The victim gave a very detailed description of her attacker. That’s pretty impressive for someone so young,” Adams said.

The girl described the assaulter as approximately 30 years old with a few days’ growth of a beard, black hair and glasses. He was wearing a white shirt with green sleeves and yellow dots, with blue lettering over the left breast, blue-jean shorts and sandals without socks. He was riding a black motorcycle with blue fenders, she said.

Adams said no clues have been found or tips reported so far.

Officers are trying to identify the suspect. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Spanish Fork Police Department at 798-5071.
