Letter: Fed up with Universe

214

I have been reading this newspaper for four years now, but I’ve finally had enough.

No matter how bored I am, I am never going to pick up a copy of The Daily Universe again.

I have seen one too many fluff articles on the front page and far too few real news stories.

For example, while the nation is in the midst of a terrible debt crisis, the front page on July 19 features only articles concerning adoption and multitasking.

History is being made with the World phone hacking scandal, but the opinion editor thinks it more appropriate to talk about Harry Potter.

I’ve had enough of this drivel.

To The Daily Universe: you aren’t a real newspaper.

To The Daily Universe staff: you aren’t real journalists.

I bid you all adieu.
