Gov. Cox urges Biden for U.S. oil production

Gov. Spencer Cox wrote to President Biden asking him to help increase oil and gas production in the U.S.

“America’s tremendous energy wealth, including the vast oil and gas reserves beneath western states’ public lands, could provide the fuel our European allies need to break away from Russian energy dominance,” Cox said.

The governor said increased production would help our allies lower their surging energy costs, improve renewable-focused electrical grids and shut off the Russian pipelines.
