BYU Newsline reporter Mitchell Price escaped to the mountains after he learned one of his roommates was possibly exposed to COVID-19.
Price received the phone call late last Saturday night and was told not to come home. He immediately gathered his camping gear and set off into the woods with his dog Sasha.
This is a mini video documentary of his time in the mountains.
He stayed there in self-quarantine for three days and is now staying with relatives until it is safe to return to his apartment.
His roommates are still in quarantine in their apartment. They have not shown symptoms yet, but they will stay in quarantine for a two-week period to be safe.
