BYU women's volleyball and soccer announced each sport's 2017-2018 schedule on Monday.

The volleyball schedule is highlighted by seven opponents that made the NCAA Tournament last season, including Baylor, Boise State, Hawai’i, Missouri, Ohio State, Utah and UT Rio Grande Valley.

The team will participate in three nonconference tournaments, beginning with the BYU Invitational, which opens on August 25.

After, BYU will face in-state rivals Utah, Weber State and Utah Valley before opening West Coast Conference play.

Last year's WCC runner-up San Diego comes to Provo on October 27 in what could be a pivotal conference matchup.

The Cougars end the season with three-consecutive home games at Smith Fieldhouse.

Just next door at South Field, the BYU women's soccer team will open its fall campaign with the annual Blue/White game on August 5.

After an exhibition match at Oklahoma, the Cougars travel to Penn State to open the regular season on August 18.

Last year, the Cougars defeated the defending national champion Nittany Lions 3-2 and then Big Ten opponent Ohio State 3-0 in Columbus.

Ohio State will make the trip to Provo this year for BYU's home opener on August 21.

The Cougars will face five Pac-12 teams, including rival Utah, in September before hosting Kansas and Utah Valley to round out nonconference play.

BYU will play five of its first six conference games at home before closing out the season with three road games.

The final game of that three-game road trip will be at Santa Clara. Last season, the Broncos made it to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament and finished the season ranked 17th.
