BYU senior guard Kyle Collinsworth received his second WCC Player of the Week honor this season after earning his ninth career triple-double and helping the Cougars to wins over both Santa Clara and San Francisco.
Collinsworth had 21 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in BYU's crushing 97–61 victory over Santa Clara Thursday on Jan. 7. It was Collinsworth's third triple-double of the season as he closes in on last year's season record of six triple-doubles.
He recorded 13 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals in another home game two days later against San Francisco. The Cougars took home the win with a score of 102–92.
Collinsworth previously shared WCC Player of the Week honors with Gonzaga's Kyle Wiltjer on Nov. 30.
