Provo Police offer reward for suspect in bank robbery

The Provo Police Department is offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of an unidentified man who robbed a Utah Community Credit Union Wednesday morning.

The suspect entered the credit union, located at 1501 S. 40 E. in Provo, and handed the teller a note that said “This is a robbery,” according to a police press release. The suspect did not show or mention any weapon. The teller gave a sum of cash to the suspect, who then left the credit union heading southeast.

The police describe the suspect as a white male in his mid- to late 20’s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a leather jacket, light blue jeans, and dark sunglasses.
