Universe columnist Tyler Page talked with Sen. Mike Lee R-Utah, for an exclusive interview on life in the Senate, immigration, NSA snooping and defunding the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare). It will be released in three parts over the course of this week.
In part 3 of the interview, Lee expressed outrage at the NSA data mining operation exposed in recent leaks, discussed the constitutional questions surrounding them and outlined what he is doing to try and limit the NSA’s ability to continue further data collection. He additionally explained why he didn’t oppose the NSA center in Utah.
