BYU’s undefeated women’s tennis team returns to the courts against regional rival Boise State Saturday at the indoor tennis courts.

This will be the Cougars fourth straight match at home where they are currently 3–0.

“It’s great to be able to start off at home this year,” BYU coach Lauren Jones-Spencer sad. “We always play really well on our courts. It helps give us good momentum into the season.”

The Broncos are 4–0 on the season, but BYU has the edge in the all-time record between the two teams, 12–3.

“This weekend against Boise State will be a great match for us,” Jones-Spencer said. “They have a new team and they will be tough competitors, but we are looking to play solid fundamental tennis and build on the momentum we have started this season.”

BYU junior Desiree Tran, sophomore Meghan Sheehan-Dizon, freshman Nicolette Tran and senior Aubrey Paul are all undefeated in singles play this season.

This will be the last match of BYU’s four-game home stand. They will travel next week to Las Vegas for a double-header.

The Cougars and Broncos face off at noon. Admission to the match is free and pizza will be provided.
