The American Bar Association offers scholarships of up to $15,000 for students attending law school. Deadline: March 1.

Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship: Awards up to $5,000 for study abroad. Eligible applicants must be currently receiving a Pell Grant. Deadline (for Spring/Summer and Fall Study Abroad): March 1.

James Madison Fellowship: The Madison Foundation funds graduate school for current and future high school teachers of American history or government. Deadline: March 1.

J.W. Saxe Memorial Fund: Offers up to $2,000 to students taking a no-pay or low-pay public service job or internship during a summer or other term. Deadline: March 15.

Sigma XI Grants-in-Aid of Research: Sigma XI offers grants to help graduate and undergraduate students with research. Deadline: March 15.

The US-UK Fulbright Commission funds three summer programs at UK universities for college freshmen and sophomores. Deadline: March 16.

The Institute of Humane Studies sponsors 12 week-long seminars on libertarian tradition at college campuses throughout the country. Deadline: March 31.

Think Swiss offers 15 scholarships for a research stay in Switzerland. The scholarship is open to students of all fields. Deadline: March 31.

Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grant: $1,000 grants for undergraduate study abroad. Deadline: April 1.

Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship: Awards fellowships of $5,000 each to members preparing to enter their first year of graduate or professional study. Deadline: April 15.

Phi Kappa Phi Literacy Grant: Awards $2,500 to Phi Kappa Phi chapters and members to fund ongoing literacy projects and create new initiatives. Deadline: June 1.
