As the end of the semester nears, celebrations are in development for the graduating seniors.

According to Ben Wilson from the Events Management Team, the annual Senior Celebration is being organized and BYU is recruiting volunteers from all over campus.

?Anyone is welcome to volunteer,? Wilson said.

Students, alumni, faculty members and even family members are invited to volunteer.

Aaron Clift, a senior from California who has volunteered for the past two years, recommends getting friends involved as well.

?I know that for me it was really fun because we got a group of ten friends,? Clift said. ?You?re just with all your friends putting hamburgers together and having fun talking to the different graduates and everything.?

?There will be sign ups for shifts grilling burgers, serving pizza and scooping ice cream,? Wilson said.

Senior Celebration will be Friday and will be divided into two volunteer time shifts, Wilson said. The first shift is from 7- 8:30 p.m. and the second shift is from 8:15-10 p.m.

After their shift, all volunteers are invited to stay for the rest of the celebration and take part in the free food, bowling, entertainment and other activities, which will go until midnight, Wilson said.

Volunteers can sign up at the booth located east of the Terrace or at the front desk of the Student Leadership Office located in 3400 of the Wilkinson Center. They can also send their name and phone number to Ben Wilson at to specify which shift they would like to cover.

?We are especially looking for the 8:15-10 p.m. shift,? Wilson said. ?They only need to stay until we run out of food.?
