Volleyball player: MWC player of the week

    After having a career night against UNLV last Saturday, BYU sophomore middle blocker Lindsy Hartsock was named Mountain West Conference Player of the Week.

    She posted 16 kills against the Rebels, hitting an impressive .609 percentage and added 10 blocks for the match.

    Against San Diego State last weekend, she recorded 11 kills with an outstanding .647 percentage along with six blocks. Hartsock currently ranks No. 1 in blocks per game in the nation with 1.81 and No. 24 in hitting percentage with .446.

    The 2003 MWC Freshman of the Year also leads the MWC performance lists in blocks per game and hitting percentage.

    COUGAR TRACKS: The time for the BYU vs. Air Force football game on Saturday, Oct. 23, has been announced as a 1 p.m. start in Colorado Springs, Colo. The game will be broadcasted locally by KJZZ-TV and will be produced by ESPN Regionals
