    POLICE BEAT

    INDECENCY

    A white male was noticed standing nude on the east side of the tennis courts Tuesday at 1 p.m. Some female students noticed him and called the police. He ran away upon being noticed. Police are still investigating.

    OBSCENE PHONE CALLER

    A female student living in Deseret Towers reported an obscene phone caller on May 29 at 2 a.m. The caller played a song on her answering machine twice that had malicious and sexually oriented lyrics. Police have no suspects.

    VANDALISM

    A car had its back tire slashed in the Tanner Building parking lot on May 26 at 8:40 a.m. The car owner also had some flowers in her car that were cut up and thrown throughout the car. Police have no suspects.

    NIGHT SWIMMING

    MOA Security officers found an 8-year-old boy swimming in the pond in front of the museum at 6:20 p.m. on May 25. The boy was taken home and given a warning.

    THEFT AND ILLEGAL CONSUMPTION

    Two male juveniles were found riding through Deseret Towers with a bike seat in their hands and drinking on May 24 at 11:30 p.m. An officer noticed the smell of alcohol, and the boys admitted to having consumed one beer each and having stolen the bike seat. They were cited for theft and illegal consumption.

    SHOPLIFTER

    A male campus visitor was arrested for shoplifting on May 24 at 3:15 p.m. in the WSC. The man had taken a greeting card, a stuffed animal, some candy and a gift bag.

    THEFT

    A $3000 video projector was reported stolen from the Crabtree Building on May 23 at 6:05 p.m. Police have no suspects.

    MISSING OBJECTS

    A $279 DVD player, a set of home theater speakers and some storage keys were reported missing from the BYU Bookstore on May 23 at 12:35 p.m. Police are still investigating.
