A BYU graduate takes his place in the hot seat again Tuesday, June 6 on ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”

Steve Best passed the first two levels on Sunday’s prerecorded show, allowing him to return tonight in his quest for $1 million on the show that will be aired tonight.

“To think of what the odds were that he overcame were phenomenal,” said Steve’s wife, Donna. “The chances of even getting on the show are .00001 percent.”

Steve said he was extremely relaxed and totally relieved once he made it to the hot seat.

“Making it to Tuesday’s show was great because I enjoyed another night in New York with my wife,” Steve said.

Donna said she knew Steve could answer the last “fast finger” question he was given right when she saw it.

“The last question was a pop music question and I knew he would answer it because he likes classic rock and we have kids that listen to a lot of music,” she said.

The question required Steve to place four singers, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, David Lee Roth and James Brown, in the order of their birth, starting with the most recent.

Steve’s father, Brian Best, said it was fun to see him perform.
