The four suspects charged with kidnapping a Provo man had their first hearing Monday, April 10. Shane Samaniego, Aaron Sanford and Scott Martinez face charges of aggravated kidnapping, along with Richard Callaway, who was arrested last Thursday.
Bail for Callawy is $150,000, while the other three men have bail set at $100,000.
The victim, who still remains nameless by the police, was kidnapped the morning of March 20 on the southwest side of Provo. He was jammed into the trunk of a car, and after a few hours, police say he was released with minor injuries.
If convicted, the four men may face life in prison and up to a $100,000 fine.
