    Trespass

    Employees of the BYU farm observed a male subject in a goat pen Feb. 19 at 4:20 a.m. The farmers were working nights because of lambing season and ran to the goat pen when they heard a commotion. They observed a long-haired individual with their goats. The suspect jumped the fence and fled on foot before the farmers could detain him. University Police are investigating the incident.

    Threat

    On Saturday at 7 p.m. an individual told an employee of the Continuing Education Department that he would kill himself if his son was not admitted to Especially For Youth.

    An individual told an employee at the information desk of the Harold B. Lee Library that he would kill her if the information she had just given him was incorrect. Officers searched the area and could not locate the suspect. The victim described the suspect as a 19- to 25-year old white male with dark hair, 6-feet-2-inches tall weighing approximately 200 pounds.

    Suspicious activity

    Female victims reported that a 43-year-old man was “scoping them out” during ward activities at the Riviera apartment complex and in the Ernest L. Wilkinson Student Center between Feb. 1 and Feb. 18. The victims said they felt uneasy because the suspect never spoke to them. Officers located the suspect in the WSC on Feb. 19 and informed him of the complaint. The suspect said he is visiting from Ohio and staying at a local hotel.

    A custodian observed a man changing his clothes in a women’s bathroom Saturday at 2 a.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center. The custodian said the suspect looked embarrassed and fled through the north doors when he was approached. The victim described the suspect as a white male in his mid 20s with thinning brown hair, 5-foot-8-inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds. The suspect was wearing jeans and a tan pull-over shirt and carrying an unusually large bag.

    A woman observed a suspicious male watching her from a stairwell below her Wymount Terrace apartment Feb. 16 at 4:30 a.m. The suspect emerged from the stairwell and stood in the shadow of a tree when the victim opened her apartment door to leave. The victim re-entered her apartment to get her husband. They searched the area but could not find the suspect. The suspect was described as a muscular male, 6-feet-1-inch tall, wearing dark clothing and a knit stocking cap.

    Sex Offense

    A 41-year-old visitor to campus parked in the parking lot north of S Hall on Feb. 5 at 1:00 a.m. to watch female students undress. University Police identified the individual and are monitoring the situation.

    Theft

    Computer components were stolen from 2445 HBLL between Feb. 12 and Feb. 16. Unknown individuals stole a Compaq Deskpro 4000, leaving behind the floppy disk drive and the exterior case.

    An unlocked red Schwinn 10 speed was stolen from Budge Hall between 5 p.m. Feb. 9 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10. The bike had a $200 value.

    A bike locked with a padlock and cable was stolen from a bike rack in front of W Hall between Feb. 12 and Feb. 17. The silver GT Dyno model bike had a $200 value.

    A Schwinn mountain bike was stolen from a bike rack south of the Law School between 3 and 11 p.m. on Feb. 18. The 24-year-old victim described the bike as a cross between a mountain bike and a street bike. The victim said the black 21-speed bike has mountain bike tires and a street bike frame.
