Letter to the Editor: NBA less appealing without Jordan

    48

    Dear Editor:

Now what am I going to do? I thought the NBA lockout would bring Michael Jordan back for a seventh title. But, alas, it was not meant to be. Now we’ll be left to watch self-centered players like Shaquille O’Neal or hear Latrell Sprewell talk about how he was victimized.

Maybe this year the Jazz can win and Karl Malone can finally stop his whining. Jordan was a class act, a true sportsman. With players like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and now Jordan gone, I just don’t know if NBA action will be so “fantastic” anymore. I guess that’s less incentive for me to watch NBA on Sundays.
