Dear Editor:
Thank you BYU, for trying so hard to decorate for the Christmas season! I LOVE Christmas, and everytime I see the lights and tinsel, or hear a carol, I start to glow/dance/caper and forget for a joyous moment that finals are ahead and there is still much to be done.
It also brings to life the knowledge that soon I will be safely with my family — giggling, singing and prancing like little elves, until the elder elves send us to bed. I am especially grateful for the Santa figures, since Santa is my favorite jolly rotund person (after my Dad, of course), and it makes me happy and peaceful just to look at him — or representations of him.
I know that numerous individuals, who could never receive all the praise they deserve, spend valuable time and resources to deck the campus with holiday magic. Your work does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
