As part of New Student Orientation, each new student will receive a passport. You won’t be able to use it to travel, but the passport will get you a free BYU-embroidered shirt.

Each student will be given a passport with eight areas to be stamped. Each area corresponds to an activity. The passport can only be stamped at the designated activities. A table with a bright yellow tablecloth will be present at each of these activities where you can get your passports stamped.

Nate Southerland, director of this year’s passport program, is confident about its benefits.

“The passport program is a great chance to see the campus community in action and to find out what is available. Not only will you get a great-looking shirt, you will find out the enormous resources available to students free of charge.”

The passport should be completed by the second week of school. No passport activities extend beyond the first two weeks of school.
