Elder Robert D. Hales of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak at the Church Education System Fireside on Sunday.
The CES Fireside will be broadcast from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Elder Hales’ office said the theme for the fireside is “Return With Honor.” When Elder Hale was a pilot in the Air Force, the words “Return With Honor” were written on the sides of the planes, referring to their aerial missions.
Elder Hales will apply these words to people’s missions here on earth, and what they must do to return with honor to the presence of their Heavenly Father, Elder Hales’ office said.
Elder Hales will also speak at an LDS ward sacrament meeting in Colorado Springs on Sunday.
The fireside will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. via church satellite to the BYU Marriott Center and other locations.
