THEATER -- MUSICAL: 'Quilters' will be performed at 7:30 p.m. in the Pardoe Theatre. The musical has comedy, drama and triumph as pioneer stories are remembered. Admission is $8 for students, $10 general; call 378-HFAC for tickets or more information.

THEATER -- MUSICAL COMEDY: The rarely performed 'Joseph and Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' will be performed at Hale Center Theater Orem, 225 W. 400 North, at 7:30 p.m. The light-hearted, family-friendly show, based on the biblical story of Joseph in Egypt, was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Tickets are $8 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets are $7 on Mondays, and $10 Fridays and Saturdays. The show will run through May 25. Call 226-8600 for reservations.

MOVIES -- INTERNATIONAL CINEMA: Here are this week's films at International Cinema, 250 SWKT. Showtimes are for Tuesday only; information is provided by IC. 'Padre Padrone' (1977, 1 hr. 54 min.) is a true story about a shepherd boy kept in isolation who rebels and enters into society. It is in Italian with English subtitles and shows at 3:15 and 9:20 p.m. 'Nostalghia' (1983, 2 hrs.) is about a Soviet poet who visits Italy and feels 'nostalghia' -- what the Russians define as melancholy and love for one's homeland. It is in Italian with English subtitles and shows at 7:10 p.m. 'The Secret Agent' (1996, 1 hr. 35 min.) is based on a Joseph Conrad novel and is about a spy's betrayal in 19th-century England. It is in English and shows at 5:20 p.m. Admission to all shows is free with IC card; $1 otherwise.

MUSIC -- BRASS: London Brass, a 10-member ensemble of some of England's finest musicians, will perform a wide variety of music at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall. The group has played for over 45 years and released more than 50 albums. Tickets are $10 for students, $12 general. Call 378-HFAC for more information.

MUSIC -- GUITAR: BYU's Guitar Ensemble, directed by faculty member Lawrence Green, will perform works by Joplin, Handel, Pachelbel and others at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall. Admission is free.
