WASHINGTON (AP) — Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a Republican who chairs the House Oversight Committee, said he won’t for re-election or any other office in 2018.
Former President Barack Obama’s promise that the Affordable Care Act would allow citizens to keep their healthcare plans and their doctors was the lie that sold it into law, according to Rep. Jason Chaffetz R-Utah.
Citizens of Utah will select their party’s political candidates during the state primary election on Tuesday, June 28. Primary winners will then compete against the opposing party in November’s Lieutenant Governor Election.
A BYU professor running against Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz recently raised questions regarding the Congressman’s use of campaign funds. After analyzing the public records Chaffetz filed, Teng made his questions known to the Federal Elections Commission.
