The Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 on Feb. 5, 2017, after trailing 28-3 in the fourth quarter.

Van Noy was traded to New England in October 2016 after playing for the Detriot Lions since 2014.

The Lions drafted Van Noy in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

After a lackluster period with Detroit, Van Noy had 11 tackles and one sack with the Patriots in the final seven games of the regular season.

In the postseason, Van Noy had six tackles, including an assisted tackle and 0.5 sacks in the Super Bowl.
