BYU women’s basketball will take on Washington State in the first round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.

The Cougars will host WSU at the Marriott Center, after not dropping a single home game during West Coast Conference play. BYU finished the season 20-11.

WSU finished the year 12-19, including a 6-12 mark in Pac-12 play and a victory over then No. 9 UCLA. Washington State was decimated by injuries this year, with three of its top four scorers suffering season-ending injuries.

Alexis Swedlund is the team’s active points per game leader with 10.9.

The winner of the game will move on to face the winner of the Seattle vs Wyoming game. Tip off times have yet to be announced.
