Sometimes it is necessary to go against the world's preferences to stay in line with personal standards. The BYU Cougarettes have done just that by turning years of consistently modest dance costumes into a success.
BYU students were treated to a variety of performances at the Tuesday, March 1, 2016 devotional at the Marriott Center. Vocal Point, Noteworthy, the Young Ambassadors and the Cougarettes performed. This was the first Devotional Performance Assembly hosted by BYU.
The Cougarettes delivered an unbelievable performance in their 70th anniversary concert at the Covey Center. The group honored those who have come before and showcased the talents and skills of members currently on the team.
BYU football Head Coach Kalani Sitake started the More2Life foundation to give his players service opportunities outside of BYU athletics, and the charity has since sent BYU football players to Harlem, Compton and elsewhere to serve and mentor inner-city youth.
