UDOT Celebrates Opening of Mountain View Corridor
A seven mile stretch of the Mountain View Corridor opened this past weekend, giving motorists and cyclists a reason to celebrate. The Utah Department of Transportation kept riders in mind during construction on the 35 mile long highway by building bike lanes, trails, and turn signals specific for cyclists. When UDOT completes the project in December, they say the corridor will run from I-80 in Salt Lake City to I-15 in Lehi. The Mountain View Corridor was also built to accommodate future expansion and should fulfill the needs of drivers through 2030.
