Behind the scenes photos
In late May, a group of BYU School of Communications students spent a week in Palmyra, New York, creating content to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Angel Moroni’s visit to Joseph Smith. During their stay, they visited Church history sites, were mentored by professors, and learned how to work together as they each took turns interviewing locals and operating camera equipment. This team has grown together as they’ve made various multimedia projects regarding the Book of Mormon and the Restoration, and as a result, have lived BYU’s mission to “enter to learn, and go forth to serve.”

In this Monday, May 18, 2015 photo, civilians fleeing their hometown of Ramadi, Iraq, rides on a truck in Habaniyah town, 80 kilometers (50 miles) west of Baghdad. Iraqi forces and allied Sunni tribesmen repelled an Islamic State attack overnight on a town west of Baghdad, a tribal leader said Tuesday, as the government renewed its commitment to arm anti-militant Sunni tribes following the loss of the key city of Ramadi.
