A middle school student from Riverton, Utah, won big at the 2024 UIAA Youth Ice Climbing Championship. Landers Gaydosh competed in the ice climbing competition in Champagny-en-Voise, France. He took home a gold medal in both speed and lead climbing.

Cosmo the Cougar easily defeated Willie the Pepperdine Wave with 93 percent of the vote. In the other matchup, Diego Torero continued his tournament domination, earning 80 percent of votes cast to beat Pacific's Powercat.
