The demise of BYU's wrestling program is a loss for all of us. We are denying another group of fine athletes the privilege of the BYU experience. Students who will not only athletically but intellectually aid our school will take BYU off the list of schools to apply to because it has dropped such a wonderful sport and thereby spoiled a wonderful opportunity to serve.

You, young man that just sped through that pedestrian lane right in front of me ... Yes, you ... You've done that to me 30 times this fall and 29 times in broad daylight. No, I don't mind stopping for you midway in the street or feel your breeze on my dorsal side as you whiz behind me. It's either not mind or be splattered all over the front of your big, powerful car.

I wonder if I'm the only one who is disgusted at the way food prices are higher than ordinary for just about every item across the counter at the basketball games. Why is it that they can get away with charging 35 cents for a hamburger that is ordinarily 25 cents, and without potato chips?

The News Editor must have been out for the day when 'Please don't gawk at my baby' came to press. While the writer's concern regarding strangers sticking their fingers in her baby's mouth is a legitimate concern, the rest of the article contains nothing more than the childish rantings of a self-absorbed woman whose existence seems to be justified through her child.

In response to Tuesday's article of the mother pleading with the student body to leave her baby alone. Was that a joke? If your baby is in fact 'the cutest on campus' (which is debatable), how can you expect all those 'baby-hungry single women' to leave it alone? It's not the baby's fault it gets so much attention, nor is it the students that play with her, it is the fault of the person who totes her around.
