BYU men’s soccer gets 6-1 win over Weber State as postseason approaches

After securing a 4-0 win over Weber State last Saturday at South Field, the Cougars were prepared for the rematch that took place in Ogden Friday night. Evan Smith came out on fire for the Cougars, netting two goals on the way to a 2-1 halftime lead.

The scoring didn’t stop there as Brayden Gonder, Nate Mumford, Eric Morris, and Talmage Woodhouse all contributed to a 6-1 victory over the Wildcats.

BYU will wrap up the regular season Saturday night in Orem when they take on Utah Valley University. The Cougars were able to net a 5-0 victory over the Wolverines earlier this season and will look to keep their eight-game winning streak alive. After the season finale, BYU will travel to Monmouth, Oregon to participate in the Regional Playoffs.
