A man snowmobiling west of Vail Pass in Summit County, Colorado, was rescued on Feb. 18 after being buried under several feet of snow for more than an hour. The man was riding with a friend when an avalanche struck. His friend called 911, and rescuers were able to locate the trapped snowmobiler after spotting his airbag sticking out of the snow. Body camera footage shows rescuers finding and digging him out from 3 to 4 feet of snow.
